Harvard will mail the ballot in early April to all 330,000 alums. My name and the names of the 8 other candidates nominated by the alumni association, will be on the ballot. The ballot will ask you to vote for up to 5 candidates. The 5 candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected.
Typically, the margin of victory is very narrow - 100-200 votes - so every vote is important. You need not vote for 5 candidates. You can vote for just one and I urge you to do exactly that - vote just for me. This will significantly increase my chances of winning.
